World of Warcraft - Add-on Anchoring

Today we’re going to take a look at a feature that a lot of add-ons support called “Anchoring.” Anchoring is the ability to tie multiple user interface frames together to form a single cohesive frame that will move together. What this provides you is the ability to move one single frame and have other frames stay in the same position relative to the “anchor” frame.

And another one down, another one down … another one bites the dust.

I didn’t start mythic raiding until pretty late into the Shadowlands release. So by the time I started with a group, the first 5-6 bosses were already on farm. And I haven’t raided at a semi-hardcore level since early Legion. Needless to say, it has been a long while since I’ve had a progression kill. So I thought I’d share my happiness with a quick update.

As someone who hasn’t done progression raiding since early Legion, this fight was a lot of fun. It was challenging on a lot of different levels. And I really enjoyed that rush you get from finally getting a difficult boss down.

Plater: Identifying Priority Adds

Have you ever been in an encounter that had a lot of adds and had to prioritize one of them? There is a lot of ways you can optimize prioritizing the specific add: macro buttons, WeakAuras, etc.

In this post I thought I’d share with you a way to highlight priority adds using the Plater nameplate addon.
